West Wales Campsite

The Campsite is set in the beautiful Welsh countryside in West Wales which has plenty of historical surrounding villages to explore.

Beautiful beaches within 10 minutes drive from us include Llangrannog, Penbryn, Aberporth, Tresaith and Cymtydu which gives you plenty of scope for walking or swimming.

The Ceredigion Coastal Path is now being developed which offers excellent walking opportunities connecting all the local beaches. The Cai Bach summer mini bus service also operates a connecting service. We can provide advice, routes and maps on these and other inland walks.

If you're more energetic, there's golfing, swimming and boating at Cardigan. The Woollen Museum at Drefach Felindre, Cilgerran castle and Henllan steam railway are just a few of the cultural places to visit.

To the south of the river Teifi at Cardigan you can visit St Davids, the ancient hills of Preseli, the burial chamber of Pentre Ifan and the Celtic Cross at Nevern.

On day visits, guests can comfortably reach such attractions as Dylan Thomas country at Laugharne. At Aberystwyth the vale of Rheidol narrow gauge railway, the National Library of Wales with nearby Devil's Bridge and Strata Florida Abbey.

Tiny fishing villages dot the coast nearby with small harbours at Aberaeron, New Quay, Aberystwyth, Cardigan and many to the south of the River Teifi in Pembrokeshire. Visits to local town of Newcastle Emlyn in Carmarthenshire which is interesting especially on market days, as is the monthly horsemarket at Llanybydder.
